George Foster paced the Jumbos, netting the ball three times in the first quarter. Al McLellan came through once to complete their total in the initial frame. Bob Miller took over in the second half and scored the remaining two goals.
The Freshmen, playing New Hampshire Freshmen at Durham, wound up on top by a score of 10 to 3. Herb Allen, Fred Greenhagle, and Brad Harris led on the attack, scoring three times each.
