Steal a Paper, Mister?

NO WRITER ATTRIBUTED

Kleptomania is one of the last diseases expected from Harvard men, yet petty thievery is rampant in the dining hall news stands. One House lost $25.00 within two weeks, while another is augmenting last year's $131.00 deficit at the rate of $36.00 a month. A dealer with a class at twelve no longer dares to leave more than the daily paper on his stand and even then goes into the red because of undergraduates who "forget" to pay. Little more satisfactory is the student who pays for his appear with two cigarettes.

It is needless to point an obvious moral, but if Harvard students are not honest of their own accord, the privilege of the dining hall news stands should be revoked.
