Undefeated Baggaley Cops Yardling Ping-Pong Title

Andrew Baggaley, of Shaker Heights, Ohio and Hollis Hall, swept through the Freshman ping-pong tournament without losing a single game to cop the championship last week. Baggaley defeated John White of Andover and Weld Hall in three straight games to take the final match and the title.

A leading tennis and table tennis enthusiast in his home city, the new champion relied on a powerful offensive to dominate completely the tournament conducted by the Phillips Brooks House Freshman Committee. Dean Hennessy, of the Committee, was in charge of the tourney.
