Although on last year's annual spring trip the Glee Club knitted several socks for Britain, the 1942 edition went them one better by returning home with a demure rabbit, and tales of 60-mile hitch-hikes, and buses loaded to double their capacity wending their weary way through a blinding snowstorm.
The bunny was purchased in honor of Easter, and it is rumored that he is residing somewhere around the College. As for the thumbing expedition; Robert F. Avery '42, and Jonas A. Barish '42 were left behind when the buses departed from one stop on the tour, so, starting from Horseheads, N. Y., they solicited rides and ended up at Elmira, N. Y., their destination.
