A new exhibition hall and two galleries of permanent exhibits representing the application of the most modern methods of museum display to anthropological objects will open at the Peabody Museum today.
Created under the direction of Frederick R. Pleasants, assistant to the Museum director, in consultation with specialists, the new rooms are intended to show how anthropological exhibits can be dramatized so that they have interest for the general public and yet stimulate the visitor and the student to further research in the study collections nearby.
