In an intra-squad game played Saturday at Soldiers Field between the Red and White teams of the Crimson spring football squad, the Reds blasted their opponents with a conclusive score of 12-0. Missing from the game because of an injury received during practice was Don Forte, captain of next year's team, and the only one of the six returning lettermen who started against Yale last fall, Scoring the first Red touchdown was Freshman Paul Perkins, who tossed a 25-yard pass to Morgan, and then drove on to a touchdown. At tailback, Bill Wilson passed to Len Cummings for the second score of the day.
Another Freshman passer was Jim Gallagher who came through with a 40-yard toss to Cummings. Bob Hurley, who has been playing on the Adams House team showed up well as blocking back for the Whites, while on the Red line Thaddeus Mroz, a Yardling, starred.
