Robert S. Kieve '43, president of the Crimson Network, established what he claims to be a new record when he thought up, wrote, rehearsed, and produced a script in the short time of two and three-quarters hours last night.
The occasion was the re-broadcast of the opening of WBS, the new Wellesley undergraduate radio station yesterday afternoon, parts of which were recorded by Kieve and his technicians, and were then played to Harvard students, with descriptive side-lights.
Claiming that Joe Smith's marathon record was "nothing compared with mine," Kieve said yesterday that he is planning to work up a half-hour program in 20 minutes "just to see what it will sound like."
