OUTLOOK SAD FOR LACROSSE SPRING TRIP

Ab Fenn Changes From Ice To Field, Stays in Goal Nets

NO WRITER ATTRIBUTED

Still in drydock as far as proven ability goes, the Varsity lacrosse team takes to the water on its maiden voyage next week when its ports of call on the annual spring trip are Penn, the University of Maryland, and Navy.

With last year's three defeats as a starting point, the stickmen have their best chance of improvement against Penn next Wednesday, for the games with Maryland, at College Park Thursday, and with the Middles, at Annapolis Saturday, are conceded relatively hopeless.

Ab Fenn Goalle

Captain Wally Fenn, in spite of a chipped thumb bone, should be in playing an outstanding game at second attack, with Carl Sullivan a strong possibility at center. With only his hockey experience to back him up, Ab Fenn will be at his old job of guarding the nets.

Letterman Miles Overholt plays coverpoint, and Tom Bridge, point. Sumner Simmons, another letterman, leads the attack at inside home, abetted by Dave Park first attack, and Jay Hurley, a good Sophomore prospect at inside home. John Moot and George Angle hold the defense positions.

At a full field scrimmage at 3:30 o'clock today, a less-practiced Tuft's squad should be easy meat for the Crimson.
