"The Material Foundations for World Reconstruction" will be the subject of Professor Kirtley F. Mather's talk this evening at 7:30 o'clock, as sixth guest presentation speaker on station WRUL'S recently inaugurated program on "World Affairs."
Problems of democracy, causes that have led to the outbreak of war, plans to prosecute the war to a successful conclusion, and future plans for the conduct of the post-war world are topics currently under consideration. Each Friday the series will continue to feature prominent speakers from the faculties of Harvard and other colleges in the vicinity.
The broadcast may be heard on the following frequencies: 11.73, 9.70 and 6.04 megacycles in the 25, 31 and 49 metre bands respectively. The 49 metre band frequency is recommended for U.S. listeners. The program will be repeated Sunday, 2:30 p.m., for listeners in Europe on the same frequency.
