CRIMSON SWIMMERS SUNK BY LEAGUE-LEADING TIGER SQUAD

Nassau's Power Turns Tide In Team's 53 to 22 Setback

Princeton power proved too strong for Harvard's Varsity swimming team Saturday night, as the Tigers continued to reign unchallenged over the Eastern Intercollegiate League by beating the Ulenmen 53 to 22. Immediately before the Varsity meet, the Crimson Yardlings took the measure of Worcester Academy by winning the crucial 400 yards relay to take the meet 37 to 29.

Except for the dive, which Shaw McCutcheon pulled out of the fire with a score of 115 points, and the 400 yard relay, the men from Nassau won every first place, although in some of their races the Princeton swimmers had very little yardage to spare in victory.

Probably the most thrilling event of the night was the final relay, in which. "Big John" Eusden, swimming the anchor leg, showed grit, speed and stamina in nosing out Princeton's Frank Masland. Previous to this race, Eusden had taken a second and third place in the 50 and 100 yard free styles respectively.
