$34,000 Collected Here As United Fund Drive Closes

NO WRITER ATTRIBUTED

A candid calculation late last night showed that $34,000 had been collected for the United War Fund at Harvard with active soliciting completed yesterday.

This figure stands $6,000 below the quota set for the University by the Greater Boston leaders, and only scattered returns are expected for the remainder of the week.

Canvassing of University Faculty members, employees, and students was completed yesterday but the Wadsworth House office of the Harvard chapter will stay open for donations for the next few days.
