Reinhold Niebuhr, famous theologian, writer, and authority on International Affairs, will address the Harvard Council on Post-War Problems on the subject of "Christianity and Power Politics" in the Winthrop House Common Room tomorrow evening at 8:30 o'clock. The meeting is open to all interested.
Niebuhr will discuss whether the war was caused by a decay of our western state system or whether it is indicative of a degeneration of our whole western set of religious, othical, and moral values. He will also bring in the related forces at work beneath the surface of power politics.
The speaker is head of the Union Theological Seminary, contributing editor to "Nation," and author of "Beyond Tragedy."
