Examining the problem of liberal arts concentrators under war conditions, the Council of History and Literature Concentrators has seconded the idea of co-education for Harvard and Radcliffe classes. This first development of the Teachers Union's recommendation came as one section of a report drawn up by a special committee of the Council to examine wartime problems.

Other measures recommended by the report would hurry instruction as much as possible. It maintains that tutorial is the keystone of liberal arts training.
