8 Takeaways From Harvard’s Task Force Reports

Registration for 18 Year Olds Will Open Tomorrow at P.B.H.

Initial Group Must Sign Up at Board 47

NO WRITER ATTRIBUTED

Registration of every member of Harvard College born between July 1 and August 31, 1924, will take place beginning tomorrow at the offices of Draft Board 47 in the basement of Phillips Brooks House. Registration of this group must be completed in a week.

Students who became eighteen during September and October will register during the week of December 18. The offices of the draft board will be open daily from 9 until 5 o'clock.

Reservists Exempt

Exempt from the Presidential proclamation of November 17 are the following people: officers and enlisted men of the armed services, members of Army, Navy, Marine, or Coast Guard Reserve Corps, men accepted for admittance to the United States Military or Naval Academy; cadets of the advanced course, senior division, Reserve Officers Training Corps; and Naval Reserve Officers' Training Corps.

If a person is prevented by circumstances beyond his control from registering at the indicated time, an extension may be granted. Any one who is unable to register at the proper time should do so as soon as he is able to later on.

This registration of 18 year olds who were too young to sign up last June will make the sixth national registration since the Selective Service Act was passed.
