Scheduled for five meetings a week under the direction of the Board of Supervisor, a course in Ramedial Reading held its first class yesterday at 3 o'clock in Emerson 327. These classes are designed for students who feel that their reading aptitude is at all inadequate.
There is still time to enroll in the course, and students are urged to take advantage of this opportunity to increase their reading efficiency. The $10 fee charged is more than compensated by the results obtained, for the records show an average gain of 100 words per minute by those who successfully complete this training. The class will meet Monday, Wednesday, and Friday at 8 o'clock and Tuesday and Thursday at 4 o'clock, under the instruction of Harvey A. Robinson '38, who has been associated with the reading courses for several years.
