Officials Deny Rumor of Delayed Christmas Vacation

Christmas vacation will begin on December 20 and run through January 3 in all departments of the University, officials announced yesterday. The statement was Intended to curb rumors which said that the recess would not start until the 23rd.

University rules call for the opening of the holiday on the Sunday before Christmas. For a time the Business School considered delaying that date until December 23, but in view of current transportation uncertainties moved the day up to the earlier weekend.
