Man Who Managed Clients for High-End Cambridge Brothel Network Pleads Guilty
One of the most valuable players on the Crimson squad will spend Saturday in Stillman Infirmary while his teammates take on the Michigan Wolverines, undoubtedly the toughest competition for the Harlowmen all fall.
Swede Anderson, blocking back par excellence, has been visited by a recurrence of the same infection which disabled him the day of the Army fraces and Harvard's physician Dr. Simmons says he cannot make the trip to Ann Arbor. Swede will be ready for the Brown battle, however.
Goethals Will Start
Henry Goethals gets the nod as starter in place of Anderson, with George Waters and Dana Dudley, the Freshman who was converted from end, ready to fill in.
Since the squad leaves South Station at 3:15 today, Harlow held an all-out scrimmage yesterday in the last full-fledged workout the Crimson will get before Michigan takes over.
In the contact session, Harlow used his regulars sparingly, preferring to rest the men who were even slightly banged up. Paul Perkins had a good day on the offense, while Sid Smith and Bob Byrnes made life miserable for the Varsity with some inspired defensive work.
Comeford Stars
In yesterday's passing and kicking drills, which preface every practice, Jack Comeford was the shining light. His lead passes were hitting their mark with monotonous regularity, and his punts were consistently long and high.
Another long dummy scrimmage against Michigan plays, razzle-dazzle affair which involve a man-in-motion on almost every down, was on the bill, and a signal drill wound up matters for the day.
Harlow is taking 31 players to Michigan, and the train will arrive at Ann Arbor between 9 and 9:30 o'clock tomorrow morning. The boys won't have much chance to admire the Ann Arbor scenery, either, because they head for home at 6:30 o'clock Saturday evening.
