French is the fifth assistant dean to leave the College to enter the Armed Services since April. The others were Deans F. Skiddy von Stade, Jr. '38, Christopher Huntington '32, Richard H. Sullivan '39, and Leonard C. Holvik '40, who was acting assistant dean this summer.
