CONCERT HELD BY RADCLIFFE

Led by G. Wallace Woodworth '24, and accompanied by the the Radcliffe and Harvard orchestra, the Radcliffe Choral Society last night performed before more than 1000 people in Sanders Theatre.

With Mendelssohn's "Laudati Puerl" as their featured chorale, the Radcliffe singers presented works representing both modern and classical composers. Purcell's "Nymphs and Shepherds" was the opening piece and was followed by works by Shubert, Gluek, Sweelinck, and Constantini.

Directed by Malcolm H. Holmes '28, the combined orchestra played several selections between the choralists' appearances. On the orchestras' program were Overture in C Major by Bach, the Minuet from Ravel's Sonatine, and Men-delssohn's Overture to Fingal's Cave.
