With the announcement of the line-ups for tomorrow's tussle with the Brown Bear, Crimson supporters found the answers to two backfield problems that have been plaguing Dick Harlow and the Soldiers Field medical staff.
Swede Anderson, who has been bothered all year by a recurring infection on his arm, is expected to start tomorrow, unless he has another last-minute attack, such as the one that kept him out of the Army game. He is being allowed to play because the activity will not affect his, or his arm's chances of being ready for the Yale game next week.
Wilson Not to Play
On the opposite side of the ledger, it was learned that Bill Wilson is definitely out of the picture as far as action this week is concerned, although he will probably be able to play against Yale. Wilson has a pulled cartilage in the side, the same injury that has kept Brown's Bob Margarita on the shelf for the past three weeks. Cleo O'Donnell will start in Wilson's wingback slot.
The other two backfield positions are pretty well set at the moment. Don Richards will keep the starting position at tailback, and Wayne Johnson's work against Michigan earned him the honor of being in at the kick-off, although the movies showed Tom Cowen to have played one of the best games of his Varsity career.
For the only question mark in the line, left guard, George Hibbard got the nod over Charley Gudaitis.
