Travel Problems Prohibit Yale Holiday, Says Hanford

NO WRITER ATTRIBUTED

Putting a crimp in plans for extended weekends, Dean Hanford said yesterday that there would be no holidays, as has been the custom over past years, on the day of the Yale game, at New Haven.

The action, his statement read, had been brought about by the Administrative Board's effort to comply with the government request that all unnecessary travel for the duration be curtailed. The announcement said in part, "the customary policy . . . will not be followed. classes will be held on Saturday, November 21, as usual."
