J. H. Schafrann 3L, whom Summer School students will remember as the director of wrestling at conditioning classes will take over the Varsity wrestling team this fall William J. Bingham '16, Director of Athletics, announced yesterday. Schafrann, a former University of Michigan middleweight star, is to take the place of Chief Boston, who was called into the Army as a lieutenant this year.
He has already collected a squad of 30 candidates which he is now using to assist him in teaching wrestling at conditioning classes.
