Comeford Set in Starting Post; Strong W & M Team Hits Town

Rival Eleven Hopes to Champion South

William and Mary rolled into South Station last night with the best team it's fielded in its long history, and with visions of all-Southern Conference championship. That's a tough kind of team for a slowly-rising Harvard eleven to have to meet just on its weary way up from collardom.

For this is a culmination team, citmaxing Coach Carl Voyle's four years at the second oldest college in the U. S. Fifteen lettermen came back from the the squad that took Dartmouth over 3-0 last year, and so far this sesson W & M has won three, including another 3-0 win over Navy.

Fiercest braves for this Indian tribe are Stud Johnson and Garry Ramsey, rated leading fullback and guard in the South, respectively, Johnson is an All-American prospect who runs like a supercharged steamroller, and has a habit of winning close once with handy field goals. Ramsey is the lauky, canny type of guard that catches onto the enemy signals well enough to beat the snap-back into opposing backfields.
