180 Men Graduated by Naval Supply School

Pyne, Mackintosh Review Officers in Battalion Parade

The summer class of 180 Supply Corps School officers were graduated yesterday morning in the Potter Auditorium in the Carey Field House after receiving almost four months of training here at the University.

Speakers at the graduation ceremony were Rear Admiral F. G. Pyne, SC, USN, former officer-in-charge of the Navy Finance and Supply Corps School in Philadelphia, Dean D. Vanderblue of Northwestern University, and Captain Kenneth Mackintosh present Officer-in-charge of the school.

Led by the Navy band, the Battalion marched in review on the Drill Field preceding the exercises. On the reviewing stand to witness the spectacle were Admiral Pyne, Captain Mackintosh, Dean Vanderblue, and Dean Donald K. David.
