CHICAGO (UP)--Lt. Comdr. Mildred McAfee, director of the WAVES, said today that tentative plans have been made to open an officers' training school at Radcliffe College where women will participate in the Navy Supply Officers' Course at Harvard.

She also said that the demand for the services of women in all land branches of the Navy has exceeded expectations.

Two more schools will be opened to train enlisted women and a third has been lineup tentatively for officers' training.

"We were worried," she said, "whether freedom loving American women would rebel against military regulations and discipline. But the girls in officers' training at Smith College enjoy standing at attention and carrying their own trays at mess."
