Among the fifty-odd university extension courses starting this week in Boston and vicinity are several planned to increase the efficiency of U.S. food service, some of which will meet at Harvard.

Men who desire to meet the mathematics requirements for commissions in the Navy can brush up with a course on trigonometry by Frank J. Herlihy of the Boston school department, which meets in Sever Hall on Friday evenings.
