West Point's Commander To Review Stadium Parade

Marchers Need Not Sit in Single Group

NO WRITER ATTRIBUTED

General Francis B. Wilby, superintendent of West Point, will review the Army officers-in-training who are parading in the Stadium this Saturday as substitutes for his own Cadets, who were unable to make the trip.

Joining him on the reviewing stand for the marchers in khaki will be General Sherman Miles of the First Service Command and probably Air Corps General Jones, who will be here for the Statistical School graduation in the morning.

Admiral Brown to Review Navy

Admiral Wilson Brown, U.S.N., Commandant of the First Naval District, will take the salutes of the Naval units in the parade.

Although everyone at Harvard who owns a uniform will march in it before the game, the 4,000 student officers will not have to go all out for the armed forces and sit on the Army side of the field, under rules released yesterday by Army and Navy officials in charge of the parade.

May Sit With Girls

Putting an end to many disquieting rumors, it was announced that while sections one, two, and three will be reserved for the marchers, those who "have made other arrangements" will be free to sit with their dates.

At one o'clock, exactly one and a half hours before game time, the 450 Mil Sci undergraduates will start the parade, followed by 450 Quartermaster Corps students, 450 Crufts electronics men, 400 chaplains, and 150 singing statisticians.

Parade From Yard

After marching down from the Yard, the brigade will enter the Stadium by the chute in the northeast corner, pass in review, give both Army and Harvard cheers, and break formation to go into the special stands. They are then free to take seats there or go out through the portals for their regular seats, or back to their rooms to get overcoats or civilian clothes.

Also assembling in the Yard, the Naval units will follow almost the same procedure. The 1,200 S-O's of the Indoctrination and Communications Schools will head the parade, followed by 500 Supply School students, 150 officers studying at Cruft, and the 200 upperclassmen of the NROTC.
