Mountainering Club Movies Introduce Season's Activities

NO WRITER ATTRIBUTED

Featuring pictures of the Grepon, Europe's most famous rock climb, and the third ascent ever to be made of Pinacle Gulley in Mt. Washington's Huntington Ravine, the Mountaineering Club will open its ranks tonight to all those who would like to scale mountains by means other than well-worn trails.

Movies, both black and white and color, will be shown in the Lowell House Common Room at 7:30 o'clock in an attempt to lure students to the thrills of mountain climbing.

Plans concerning this fall's activities will be discussed and schedules distributed. Two trips have already been made this fall, one to Rattlesnake Crags and the other to Cannon Mountain in Franconia Notch, New Hampshire.
