Record Group of Harriers Set for College Handicap

NO WRITER ATTRIBUTED

Despite the usual lack of outside entries, the University cross country handicap will have the greatest number of would-be harriers in several years. This is due to the fact that Coach Jaakko Mikkola has been very successful in luring men up into the hills of Middlesex Fells Reservation, where the squad has been practicing for more than a week.

Even though bolstered by 29 Freshmen, the Mikkolamen are not expected to produce any startling times, since most of them have not been practicing this summer. However, the team has Instructions to "turn it on," since the meet with Rhode Island, last year's national champs, is only two weeks away.
