According to reports from Washington, Dean James M. Landis of the Law School may be headed for a high position in the Office of Civilian Defense. Landis, who is now regional director of civilian defense for New England, spent 40 minutes in conference with President Roosevelt last Monday together with Civilian Defense Director Florello H.
