New Ruling Allows Books To Be Taken Out at 1 P.M.

NO WRITER ATTRIBUTED

For a trial period of unspecified length, books on the reserved list may be taken from the main reading room of the Widener Library at 1 o'clock in the afternoon, to be returned at 9 o'clock the following morning. Previous to this, such books could not be removed before 9 o'clock in the evening.

The new ruling is intended to solve the problem of checking out books on the reserved list in the new library, to be dedicated as the Houghton Library on February 28. It is also felt by Library officials that the new system will be a greater convenience to the students.
