Twenty members of the Freshman Debating Club opened their 1942 season last Wednesday evening with the election of a slate of five officers. Meeting in the Union Lower Common Room, the Yardlings issued a call for all men interested to attend their next meeting on February 3.
Newly-elected president of the group is Melvin Mulligan, and Peter Fay serves as secretary-treasurer. The three-man Advisory Council includes Otto Bromer, Richard Kaye, and James McNulty, who is also Business Manager of the Redbook.
