Headed by Captain-elect dick Harris, 75 prospective Varsity and Freshman swimmers will meet for the first lime this season at three o'clock this afternoon in the balcony of the Indoor Athletic Building swimming pool.

Following on the heels of today's preliminary meeting there will be seven weeks of conditioning exercises in the Special Exercise room, aimed at paring off excess weight gained during the summer, and stretching and developing sets of swimming muscles.

The exercises, lasting for half an hour or more every weekday afternoon will be combined with fundamental work in the pool. They will be open to all Freshmen or upperclassmen who intend to try out for positions on one of Uien's squads.

Since the departure of the former Freshman coach, Larry Paterson, who is now with the Buffalo Athletic Club, Ulen has taken over the coaching duties for both the Varsity and the Yearling teams.
