Summer Military Camp May Win College Sponsorship

NO WRITER ATTRIBUTED

Surveying, map-reading, parts of R.O.T.C. courses, and military drill are included in the program for a University-sponsored military camp which will be established at Squam Lake, New Hampshire, this summer if enough students apply to make the investment worthwhile.

Although final plans have not been worked out, the cost to the student will probably not exceed $60, and another $100 per man will be contributed by sponsors through the University. Engineers taking the surveying course will be given credit toward their degrees and prospective draftees will receive training valuable for advancement in the army.

Only Juniors and Seniors are eligible for admittance, and they should apply to Donald H. Moyer of the Alumni Placement Office either tomorrow or Thursday.
