CRIMSON NINE BATS AGAINST STRONG TIGER

After a six day rest, Coach Floyd Stahl's Crimson nine takes the diamond against the second place Bengals at Tigertown Saturday following their third League win of the current campaign. On the mound for the visiting forces will be southpaw Mort Waldstein.

Sophomore Waldstein got credit for the 6 to 5 Crimson win in the first game of a double header against Penn last Saturday, and will be hurling for his third league win tomorrow. The lineup will be the same as the one that split with Penn.

Tigers in Second Place

Princeton is in second place, tied with the Quakers, Yale, and Dartmouth all of whom have an average of .500, while the Crimson are next to last with .400. The Bengals took Dartmouth last week, 5 to 4, and Columbia, 9 to 5. The Big Red from Cornell, who now hold first place, walloped them 8 to 3.

The Yardlings have two games on the docket for this weekend, one with the Tufts Freshmen today, and a contest with Andover away tomorrow. Either Warren Berg or "Red" Wilcox will star on the mound for the Crimson today at Soldiers Field at 4 o'clock.
