Sweaters May be Taboo For Girls Eating in Bellboyland

NO WRITER ATTRIBUTED

Rife is the rumour in well-informed Lowell House circles that the House Committee and the tutors are considering adopting Will Hay's now-famous sweater prohibitions for young lady guests in the Bellboy Louis Quinze dining room.

"It's either that or no more women," categorically stated shy, misogynist John A. Holabird, Jr. '42, recently appointed Committee Chairman, as he hastily field his dinner table last night before the onslaught of a bevy of knit-clad females.

"I'm all for Brooks and Braemar sweaters," echoed an unidentified tutor who left with Holabird; "they're loose. But these girls who try to look like a picture out of Film Fun--they disturb the digestion."
