Special college units in the U. S. Army Air Corps are being created, to encourage interest in military flying among undergraduates, Lieutenant T. L. Truax of Mitchell Field, N. Y., announced yesterday.
In an unlimited number of 20-man unites, physically fit fledglings with two years of college credit would undergo seven months of training at the end of which they would be given a Second Lieutenant's commission.
Beginning tonight at 7:30 o'clock in Adams House Upper Common Room, Lieutenant Truax will give lectures to Dunster next Monday at 7 o'clock, to Lowell on Tuesday at 7 o'clock, and to Eliot, in the Junior Common Room, at the same time a week from today.
For those interested in consulting him personally, the Lieutenant will be available until Friday of next week in the Placement Bureau office in the basement of University Hall.
