Singing Telegram "Sparks" Entertainment in Boylston

NO WRITER ATTRIBUTED

Boylston Library's peace and calm received a jolt last night when one of its studious occupants received a singing telegram. Around the corner of the desk by the Wigglesworth side rose the sweet strains of "Happy Birthday to You" to the tune of "Mary Had a Little Lamb."

Heads jumped and library shook with excitement as the talented Western Union employee disdained the dignity of the revered sanctum. At his finish, cries, of "encore" filled the room, but the youth controlled his enthusiasm and walked out.

The aroused library officals, shocked at the disturbance, stamped up and down with their cries of "break it up," but to no avail.
