"Life" Features Marvin As "Joe College" of Harvard

NO WRITER ATTRIBUTED

Two full pages on Langdon P. Marvin, Jr. '41 will feature this week's issue of Life, which is scheduled to go on sale this morning. An entire section is devoted to a "Life Goes to Harvard" series of pictures and patter, the fruit of the visit of a Life photographer to Cambridge some two months ago.

The story of the University in pictures reveals to the American public what a Joe College place the Yard really is, and Marvin portrays the Typical Undergraduate.

Chairman of the Student Council, captain of the squash team, and president of the Council of Government Concentrators, the handsome Senior is shown in every phase of his life from doing pushups in his underwear before breakfast to admiring the state of his wardrobe.
