1944's "Ideal" Girl to Be Queen of Jubilee

NO WRITER ATTRIBUTED

The Freshman class has been called on to name specifications for its ideal girl by the Jubilee Committee. A novelty will be added to next week's Yardling dance with the selection of the '44 date who most closely corresponds to the Class' preferred features.

With ticket solicitation which got under way this week, each Freshman was canvassed for physical characteristics he most desired in a girl. From a tabulation of these statistics Harvard's first Jubilee Queen will be selected.

Andrew Welch '44 the committee chairman, announced that ticket sales were surpassing all expectations for the Yard's social zenith a week from this evening. "We're amazed," stated Welch.

As in the past the formal Jubilee dance, this year featuring Bobby Byrnes and his orchestra, will highlight a week-end of activities.
