Attended by the Board of Overseers and the Fellows of Harvard College, President Conant will formally dedicate two new buildings, Shaler Hall and the Fisher Museum, at the Harvard Forest in Petersham this morning.

Shaler Hall will form the nucleus of the University's scientific workers and students in forestry. Harvard's forest models, and exhibits of forest life and phases of silviculture will be housed in Fisher Museum.

The opening talk on the present utilization of the forest as a valuable source for biological research by Elmer D. Merrill, Arnold Professor of Botany, will be followed by the presentation of the keys to Conant, who will formally open the structures.
