Max Lerner Will Speak Today On "Harsh Age and America"

At a meeting sponsored jointly by the Liberal Union and the Harvard Defense League, Professor Max Lerner of Williams College will speak tomorrow afternoon at 4 o'clock in Emerson D on the subject "America and The Harsh Age."

Lerner's speech will answer the philosophy presented at the Peace Strike, and will maintain that America can lend active aid aboard in the battle with fascism and still keep democracy at home.
