LACROSSE MEN TO FACE SPRINGFIELD

NO WRITER ATTRIBUTED

Traveling to their sixth consecutive game away and still seeking their first victory, the Varsity lacrosse team meets Springfield this afternoon.

Because Bill Ierardi still has a charley-horse, George Hanford, Varsity goalie for the past two years, has been working out at Ierardi's attack post and may start at that position. In that case, Bill Wright will take over the nets, then Sumner Simmons will start on the attack.

The other men are the same who have started past games. Captain Doug Anderson and Fred Benedix are on the attack, Ed Edmunds, Wally Fenn and Bill Rand in the midfield, and Dave Gilbert, Don Wilson, and Don Lowry on the defense.

With one victory and one defeat to date, the Freshman lacrosse team takes on Phillips Exeter this afternoon on Soldiers Field.
