John Harvard meets the Yale Bulldog and the Princeton Tiger this Friday evening when the Yardling debating team climaxes their season with the H.Y.P. Triangular Debate Tournament. One team will face Princeton in the Chess Room of the Union at 7:30 o'clock, while the other team will present its arguments at New Haven.
The resolution of the debate is "Resolved, That disputes between labor and capital should be settled by compulsory arbitration during the defense emergency." The Freshman team of Sheldon Beren, Thomas Kuhn, and Charles Wolf debating in the Union will uphold the affirmative. At Yale, Ted Baer, William Suckle, and Louis Polack will defend the negative position for the Crimson.
Judges for the debate are Caspar Weinberger '38, Secretary of the Union. Arthur Mass of the Graduate School of Public Administration, and Robert F. Young, instructor in Public Speaking, Douglas Mercer 1L is chairman.
