Yard Cops Out For Blood In Yale Bowling Rivalry

NO WRITER ATTRIBUTED

"Who says we're afraid to bowl those Yale Cops? Just let us meet them face to face and we'll walk all over them" was the emphatic reply of the "Yahd" cops when shown a copy of the Yale News. The Eli paper had called Cambridge's finest "a bunch of old fogies" and Harvard's guardians of college windows were mighty angry.

The Crimson campus police swamped the New Haven mob in a telegraphic bowling battle several weeks ago, but the Eli flatfoots want another crack at their obviously superior opponents.

Only obstacle at present seems to be the fear of the police of what might happen with the gendarmes sporting on the alleys and the Yard unguarded.
