DEFENSE GROUP ASKS MORE AID TO BRITAIN

NO WRITER ATTRIBUTED

More than 560 persons, including over 240 members of the Faculty, have signed the resolution sent to President Roosevelt by American Defense. Harvard Group asking for further transfer of destroyers or collaboration with the British in the convey service, it was announced last Friday night.

After quoting President Roosevelt's appeal for all-out aid to Britain of March 15, the group's statement urged that any steps necessary to realize this policy be taken, even the conveying of ships.

American Defense is composed entirely of members of the Faculty and their associates, and is not connected with any student organization, as erroneously stated in last Friday's CRIMSON.
