Yale Asks Female Crews To "Race" at Derby Day

Seven Female Crews, Seven, will line up at Yale's far-famed Derby Day this spring if plans now formulating at New Haven go through. In an effort to see whether the feminine sweepswingers who appear annually in the rotogravure sections know how to row as well as pose for the press, it has been revealed that invitations to participate in the notorious holiday have been sent to seven eastern women's colleges.

As a sort of side issue, shaded and obscured by the thoughts of muscled pulchritude, it has also been announced that the best of the Harvard House crews will be asked to risk combat with a corresponding Eli College eight.

Oarsmen and oarswomen will find an opportunity to discuss laybacks and pull thoughts at any number of dances which are scheduled to be held after the water events.
