'Poon Time For Comedy Dished Over N. Y. Air Waves

NO WRITER ATTRIBUTED

'Poonsters G. B. Davis '41, Russell Bowie '41, Coles Phinizy '42 and W. B. G. Putnam '41 drew an airwave grand slam when New York station WNEW dealt them a fourteen-week contract to be "funny" every Friday night at 8 o'clock beginning this week.

The program has been semi-officially named "As Lampy Sees Them," and the first script--"but only the first," explained comedian-publisher Putnam--will be censored by the Dean's Office.

Special advantages are: the studio pays all expenses to and from New York; free cigarettes and coca-cola are provided at all times; and the head of the station is a woman.--
