PBH TO BEGIN INDOOR GAMES

Poll Indicates 1944 Favor Ping Pong, Bridge and Chess

Greatly encouraged by the enthusiastic response of the recent Yardling poll to a program of inter-hall competition in indoor sports, the Freshman committee of Phillips Brooks House will take its first step toward organization of a ping pong tournament next Thursday.

Appearing in all hall entries Thursday morning will be forms on which participants may register for the ping pong tournament. Lists will be posted in the Union the following Monday, and play will begin at that time. Similar procedure is planned for successive weeks to form bridge and chess competitions.

In the tournaments each man will help add points to the total for his hall as he progresses round by round, and the hall whose members accumulate the highest number of points for the three activities will receive a plaque.

Other suggestions submitted by individual Freshmen included "post office."
