Out to revenge a 5 to 4 defeat at the Cadet's hands last season the Varsity baseball team entrains for West Point today, bolstered by a solid four-day stretch of outdoor workouts in the warm sun of Soldiers Field.

Coach Floyd Stahl has kept intact the lineup which he used in the four games last week. The infield positions are probably the most definitely set of any on the squad, with bespectacled Freddy Keyes holding down the shortstop position, Bart Harvey safely settled on second base, Red Tully on first and Gil Whittemore on the third sack.

Bart Harvey promises to be the outstanding Sophomore find on the squad. On the southern trip he led the regular hitters with a fat .357 batting average, smacking out five hits in 14 times at bat. His base blows included a double and a triple. In addition he showed up well in the field with 13 assists and one error for a .958 average.

Bob Regan holds a strangle hold on the first string backstop job and in the outfield Ed Buckley, Lon Clay and Bill Hausserman are slated for regular work.

From a group of hurlers which include Jack Schwede and Mort Waldstein, Stahl will select two men to divide the hurling chores against the Cadets tomorrow.
